Screw him, he sucked at play by play for baseball anyways. A blind monkey could call a better game.

And what makes you think this was one of them? I'm sorry, for a moment I assumed you were capable of thinking.

Really, Really...Don't be an a$$hole.

On the original thought, I wish we were a little bit more no holds bar because maybe $hit would get done in the Athletic Department, instead of more of the same. I am glad he is gone, we needed a better play by play guy for baseball and basketball. He used to get off on tangents and then throw in some game, not entertaining.

Anybody who said what you said should expect some grief. I don't know Tony Ciuffo and don't remember ever listening to him. Once he's gone what is to be gained by slamming him? It's not like he pulled a Herrion and left the place a mess. Quality broadcasters are hard to find. The next guy may not be as good. He definitely won't be a 2-time SC Sportscaster of the Year.

GOOD LUCK TO TONY!
I HAVEN'T ALWAYS AGREED WITH TONY BUT I DO BELEIVE HE ALWAYS HAD THE PROGRAM'S BEST INTEREST PLACED FIRST. WHAT I WILL MISS FROM HIM NOT CALLING THEGAME @ COFC IS HIS KNOWLEDGE AND HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL, THE SPORT AND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM WHAT THEY ARE TODAY. THE FAMILIARITY GAINED OVER YEARS OF BEING WITH THE COLLEGE WILL BE MISSED. HE WAS ABLE TO BRING THAT TO HIS ANNOUNCING.

As a play by play guy he was a fan of the Cougs. He showed his frustrations with losing and not playing well, just like many fans do.
As a SID, he was on top of things. He was a walking history of CofC sports from the 1990's - present. He will be missed
